Today I got started on my big push to get this house once and for all organized and the way I want it. I caved and hired a cleaning service to come do the weekly scrubbing down part and while they were battling dirt, I battled the clutter and chaos. Today's job - clothes. Cleaning, purging, organizing. And may I say, it's a big task indeed.
But, laundry all done. Odd socks with no match in the garbage bin. Clothes I haven't and won't wear again purged.
And embarrassingly 34 summer dresses hung up and stowed away until warmer and happier days.
Does it count in my favour at all that I wore every single dress this past summer?
That one sunny day when you wore 34 dresses must have been hectic. Of course you know all the other halves of those sock pairs will appear in another drawer today. It is their way.

Yay for you! Sometimes that organizing stuff is just too overwhelming to even think about. You'll feel so much lighter the more and more you do it.

Yes. It absolutely does count!

Jeff: It was hectic. I'm still in recovery mode. I'll keep you posted on the saga of the missing socks.
Christa: YES! I do feel lighter. Plus, I can see the floor in my bedroom again. It's prettier than I remembered.
Susanne: You, my friend, just might be the enabler I've been looking for. I will think of you when I find that next great vintage dress I can't possibly pass up. I'll think to myself, 'Susanne would approve.'

Just what I need to be referred as, 'the enabler'. On further reflection I think that there have been too many times when the shoe fits. :P
